Veneers

If your teeth are stained, chipped, or crooked and you're looking for a relatively unintrusive option to improve your smile, the ever-popular veneers may be right for you! With modern materials and our team of experts, we can restore and improve your smile!

Benefits of Veneers

When would I need a veneer?

Dental veneers offer many benefits and can be used to correct a variety of issues, both functional and cosmetic. For example, veneers can be used to fix cracked teeth and help prevent further damage. They are also helpful for slightly crooked teeth, when braces are not an option. In addition, they’re very successful in restoring the colour of a single stained tooth.

The Treatment

Veneers will usually need two dental appointments. The first one is to get your tooth ready and make an impression, while the actual veneer will be put on during the second visit.

1. We shave a small amount of the tooth as it is required to help the veneer fit and adhere.
2. An impression of your teeth will be taken. This is so that the veneer can be precisely matched to the shape of your teeth and fit accurately.
3. The veneer will be prepared and colour-matched to your teeth.
4. At your second appointment, the veneer will be bonded and secured.

The veneer will feel natural, just like your existing teeth. If the veneer was used to fix a crooked tooth, then your smile will look much more even.

Totally recommend Dorking Dental Practice in Dene Street. I chipped a tooth and was in a lot of pain as it was sharp. I couldn't get an appointment with my own practice and a colleague recommended DDC so I walked in praying they had space but not too hopeful. Another patient was running late so Dr Iqbal treated me in her lunch hour. Staff couldn't have been nicer and the temporary fix is seriously good and very smooth. Considering moving across to here. Thank you Dr Iqbal and Mark on Reception who was super lovely in getting me seen.

The team at Dorking dental are absolutely fantastic! Mark is great and will always keep you updated with your booking and advise when other slots become available. Dr Samera Iqbal is the best dentist I have ever come across. As a nervous patient, she will always take time to explain what the procedure is, and what the best solution is. Most importantly she will make sure you are completely comfortable before and throughout the procedure, I wouldn't use anyone else!
